CJ Kennedy was a joy to work with. She captured beautifully on the page the images I had in my mind. I've received so many compliments on the pieces she's done for me from the framer who mounted the artwork to guests who visit my home, everyone who has seen the illuminated initials and coats-of-arms has admired them. My wonderful friend, CJ, a magnifient artist, was going to design a tattoo for me, and it would be done in the Boston area. She did several designs for me a few years ago, but as I aged my confidence grew.

I had some new ideas, I wanted this one to TRULY represent me. BE ME. Yet, still in a simple way. I chose the inside of my left elbow. I'm a lefty. It's near my heart. I used the German word for Hope, as German is a HUGE portion of my life. CJ incorporated an angelic symbol of hope as God is also a part of my life...It all clicked together. It's a beautiful, well thought out piece of art that motivates me in my classroom. LG, IA
